UNESA Welcomes ACQUIN Experts for International Accreditation Program
Surabaya - Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) will host a visit from the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN) expert team as part of its international accreditation and quality assurance program. The activity will be held for two days, on January 29–30, 2026, at UNESA Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya.
The program will involve several international experts from renowned universities and institutions, including Prof. Sonja Drobnic (University of Bremen, Germany), Prof. Fritz Schulze (University of Göttingen, Germany), Prof. Dr. Sapriya, M.Ed. (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia), along with consultants and assessors from Germany, Malaysia, and Tunisia.
The visit reflects UNESA’s commitment to strengthening higher education quality and achieving international standards through global accreditation and academic quality assurance systems. One of the study programs scheduled for accreditation this year is the Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program. The program has been intensively prepared to demonstrate its academic excellence, governance, and learning outcomes in accordance with international quality standards.
UNESA leadership emphasized that this activity serves not only as an evaluation process but also as an institutional learning opportunity to reinforce a culture of quality, enhance global competitiveness, and expand international collaboration networks. The two-day program is expected to produce strategic recommendations for the continuous development of study programs and the university toward becoming a world-class institution.
