Second Day of International Accreditation of PPKn Undergraduate Program at UNESA Runs Successfully with ACQUIN Experts
Surabaya -The Undergraduate Program of Civic Education (PPKn), Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), continued the second day of its international accreditation assessment conducted by the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN) on Thursday (January 30, 2026).
The assessment is part of a two-day evaluation process held on January 29–30, 2026, at the UNESA Lidah Wetan Campus, Surabaya, aimed at ensuring academic quality in accordance with international standards.
On the second day, activities focused on in-depth review of academic documents, clarification of quality assurance standards, and discussions with members of the academic community. The ACQUIN expert team involved in this assessment consisted of international scholars and practitioners:

The event was also attended by all lecturers of the PPKn Undergraduate Program, representatives of students, and alumni representatives. Their participation played a crucial role in validating learning outcomes, graduate quality, and curriculum relevance to global demands.
The Head of the PPKn Undergraduate Program stated that this international accreditation marks a strategic step in enhancing the program’s global competitiveness and strengthening UNESA’s commitment to becoming a world-class university.
“Through this assessment, the PPKn Undergraduate Program seeks to demonstrate its academic quality, governance, and innovative learning practices in line with international standards,” he explained.
The second day of the assessment was conducted smoothly and fostered a strong spirit of collaboration between the ACQUIN expert team and the UNESA academic community. The results of this accreditation process are expected to further strengthen the position of the PPKn Undergraduate Program as a leading academic program with international recognition.
